| She's done it again....now the Queen of the Moose is taking on Dave Letterman for a joke he made...in which he brought up the promiscuity of the Palin girls...yeah, it was tasteless...but he's a comedian and who really cares what he thinks...more tasteless is Sarah Palin's implying that her 14 yo would be sexually assaulted by Letterman...that's tasteless, stupid, and soooo Palin. To think this chick wanted to be VP, and possibly Pres...holey, moley...she should have stayed a sports anchor.

You finally got it. If and when the market hits 10, as you predict, his first term will have ended. With what's coming down the pike, thanks to your guy, it could well happen. Ever hear of a "bear rally"? That's what you're witnessing now -- upticks on very little volume, etc. Nobody's betting on your horse in this race.
Your glass is always half empty..you mind is half open, and you're teeth are probably half missing..and what does this have to do with the Palin Family Album, anyway.

Case in point. Pelosi tells Waxman he's got to have Cap'nTrade (energy tax) legislation ready for a House vote by June 19.
Given the push-back from dems, she might not get her wish and be in more trouble with the big guy for not delivering on his timeline.

Re. MrsF's last post: does anyone wonder why he's in such a rush to get his stuff through Congress (now before the August recess)? He knows the jigs up with more and more people and the curtain's opening more every day, exposing the wizard for what he isn't.

According to Gallup, on Jan. 21, his approval rating was at 68% and his disapproval rating was at 12%. I imagine the 20% unaccounted for was in the "no opinion" category. Quite impressive numbers. 68 out of 80 people who had an opinion of Obama one way or another approved of him. (This equates to 85% of the people who had an opinion approved of him)
Today, his approval rating is at 59% and his disapproval rating is at 34%. He lost 11% of his original base. His disapproval rating went from 12% to 34%, nearly triple. This means that of the 20% who didn't have an opinion, or were waiting to see what happens, let 13 go towards "disapprove". 93% of the people polled have an opinion of him and 59 of them like what they see. (This equates to 63% of the people who have an opinion approve of him)
People who were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, plus people who supported him before, are losing faith in him.
Here's a chart to make it easier:
% Approve % Disapprove % No Opinion
Jan 21 68 12 20
June 10 59 34 7
Difference -11 +22 -13

Ok this is not fair at all, you know I would have to post on these. It looked like her luggage was hit by a lawnmower and she just took the pieces and glued them on.... I give a B for Bailout money she needs help big time. Oh and did she steal her daughters belt, try the adult section next time.

I don't think there's much need to worry that her get-ups will start a fashion trend, even among the tasteless.

Excuse me. I am not ridiculing anyone. You just keep on spinning and spinning and spinning and attempting to create visions in reader's heads. But then that is always what you have done. You take people's plain and simple comments and make dramas out of them and try your d**n best to get poster's ire up and then get them kicked off of here. What you do is not difficult to see. I have simply stated my opinions on what I feel would work best if Bristol is actually attempting to make a statement or help other young people. And I do think the sexy T's need to be axed.

Yeah, that is a real yukker alright. If it's so "nowhwere" then why so obsessed about it?? You and mama luv that going after the kid thing, roll around in the disgusting mud. Kid trashing is kid trashing, call it by any name you want luci/mama, it's still kid trashing, you should be so proud. Hope none of your girls in your familes, kids, grandkids ever find themselves in that spot because you would be brutal about it and turn your back on them, even ridicule them. I feel sorry for them.
So, then I take it since you didn't respond, it is okay for Barry to cash in on his mama's "being knocked up as a teenager" but not Bristol Palin. Media is media, whether it be a magazine or if you write a book or use it in a political speech to garner sympathy. Why so sympathetic with Mama Obama but not Bristol?? At least Bristol was smart enough NOT to marry the daddy who would abandon her or marry her while already being married.
The funny thing is YOU are missing the entire point. You cry and whine that people won't leave the Palins, incl. Bristol, alone. If they really and truly want to be left alone, they would not keep putting themselves out there. But they do, therefore they are fodder just like everything else in life, if someone chooses to take up the issue. (Is it not the case if we post on this forum we are setting ourselves up for verbal attack?) Who really knows: they may want the publicity to keep their names in our heads. You just don't get it do you? So what, she was 17 when her pregnancy began. She's 18 now and you still consider her a child. I do not dislike Bristol, never said I did. I did, however, feel if she was to go out there and talk about teens using common sense and birth control, then she would be doing a great public service. Why do you continuously tell us we shouldn't be discussing something because you disagree with the topic. I didn't begin this thread. As I once stated to you, I thought you did. Hey, you're great at getting topics removed. If you find this so totally distasteful, why don't you put your magic to work and see what you can do.
My own personal feeling is that 'abstinence only' does not work. Case in point Bristol. She had sex, got pregnant, and to me one of the more appalling points is I guess she considers her "situation" a consequence of pre-marital sex. Come on! What it comes down to is the baby is considered a consequence of her and Levi's actions. How sad! Proper use of birth control and/or a condom could have prevented this beautiful child from having been conceived until the time was right so he could be considered a "blessing."
Before you go off on another one of your holier-than-thou rampages, I'd suggest you look at one of your heros, former VP Cheney and his OMG "Liberal!" viewpoints on same-sex relations. Some of us Republicans are socially conservative, some are fiscally conservative, and some of us are smack dab in the middle of the road with both issues, or leaning a bit one way or the other. You going to call Cheney a "Liberal" or "defector" now due to his view? Are you going to suggest he withdraw from the Republican party?

Duh, so is she, she's 18. Our children are sent off to war to fight for our country and other countries at 18. It's been this way for decades. If they're old enough to fight wars, they are old enough to use common sense.
Unfortunately I wish this was true. If it were true, that they should be old enough to use common sense, then we wouldn't have as many young people doing stupid things and getting into trouble. There are young adults at 18 that are very mature and have a lot of common sense and then there are others (look at a lot of the young celebrities) that I don't feel have the common sense to cross a road.
What amazes me is how the media jumps on every opportunity to make the good old buck off these young adults, whether it be in a good light or bad light. And don't kid yourself, it will happen unfortunately to the children of every administration or government official, if the press gets a hold of it. Sad but true.

I believe when you began this insidious personally attacking Bristol Palin she was barely 17 years old, a little high school girl. What was your excuse then? How old were you?
How old are you now? She's a kid and she doesn't deserve a bunch of mean spirited left wing ideologues trashing her and her child simply because you disagree with her Mother. Again, who is the adult here? You should be ashamed but of course you aren't, you just keep trying to justify your abominable behavior. Knock yourself out but it's you who looks bad not the kid. If you hate her Mother, then go after her, leave the kid alone.
BHO continues to cash in on his Mother and the fact she was "knocked up" at an early age by a 24 year old Kenya man and look how well she did.....yeah, look how well she did. Is he a bad boy for doing that?

Yeah that baby is bringing in the bucks for her.

I'm so happy to see some well-known Republicans regaining common sense: Powell, Gingrich, Ridge. I can't put Ventura in there, although he did say in one YouTube video he was a Goldwater Republican, but he's a thinking man for sure too. You have a problem with any of us who disagree with you being allowed our opinion and I doubt you're convincing many people on here. I don't know why you persist.
Persist with what?? Persist with telling the truth? I know that's an alien concept to some. Persist in setting the record straight when some on here make false statements such as "Gov Palin lost the election for McCain" couldn't be further from the truth. The rabid libs did a great job of trying to destroy her, in fact relentless even more so than how they went after President Bush, but if you notice, just like President Bush, she's still standing and the libs are still trying to destroy her, LOL . Tell me again who the "dummies are??
You can drop the pretense of being some kind of a republican mama, we saw through that a long, long time ago and especially your last comment of being a 9-11 card carrying conspiracy theorist. Gig's up baby.
I can't believe you are adding Gingrich and Ridge in on that list, that's funny. That's lib gibberish wishful thinking. I don't think you have a good grasp of politics, you appear to be somewhat confused. But that's ok, we luv you anyway mama.
Sugarplum, you need to read more carefully. I didn't say I was a 9-11 conspiracy theorist. I said I liked Ventura's ability to think things through and that I do go along with many conspiracy theories. I also believe other worlds exist out there outside of our own and I have seen a UFO, something no one could explain -- do you have a problem with that one too? Probably......... This is why you are who you are (stuck) and is why my mind is open to all possibilities. So you're going to discount Ridge and Gingrich of stating the Republican party needs to not discount the moderates and needs to be all inclusive? Very sad raz, very sad. You'll never make it.

You've got that right!

Tell us again what she did to make you hate her so much because I'm just not getting it. I understand you don't agree with her policies, that's fine. She doesn't go for killing babies, but is that enough to make you rabidly hate somebody that you can't stand the sight of her photo on here, there are a lot of us out there that don't think it's okay to suck the brains out of tiny babies? Call that extreme if you want, I call it humane.
Just to correct the record there mama and humdwig, McCain's rally number nearly doubled after she came on board. His campaign was down the tubes when she came along, as an example, I was going to stay home until she revived his run. As far as Gov Palin not being educated, well did you all go to snobby elitist ivy league schools and look down your noses at smaller institutions or something? How's that for class warfare in neon lights? That's pretty sad if you are so inclined to do that. Shame on you.
She is a very intelligent and gutsy lady, I like that about her, she's honest and really cares about the little people, not just talks the talk like BHO. She can run circles around Biden on her bad days, he's just a complete fool who has been feeding off the public trough for years accumulating wealth on the back of America's taxpayers. Who respects that man? NOBODY. He's a product of a snooty Ivy League school and yet he's a walking, talking gaffe machine and snarky and a liar on top of it. Had Gov Palin done even half what he has done since taking office, you would all be screaming "impeach, impeach, impeach" "look how stupid she is" but because he's a lib you remain silent. Disingenuous lot aren't you?
